Wave of Light October 15, 2020 7 pm

The Wave of Light is a creative concept based on progressive candle lightings all around the world, held at 7:00 PM every October 15th, in honor of globally recognized Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. These candles are lit in remembrance of the little lives lost too soon and the grieving families that are left behind as a result of, however, not limited to: miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, prematurity, neonatal and postnatal death. Please light a candle and place it prominently in your window and watch as a Wave of Light illuminates and encircles the earth. We encourage you to post your Wave of Light videos and photos on social media with the hashtags: #WaveofLight2020, #ShareParentsofUtah, #PregnancyandInfantLossAwareness, as well as your baby’s name(s)

We at Share Parents of Utah want you to know that we are here for you. We know this may be a complicated and stressful time for many of our Share families. We are here to listen and bounce helpful ideas off one another. We are in this together.

We currently offer both virtual and in person support meetings. These virtual meetings are really helpful and we can see one another as we talk (not required, but is an option). It’s a wonderful way for us to still support one another. You can download the “Zoom” app onto your phone and/or computer—it’s super simple! By clicking one of the linked meetings, it will walk you through the easy-to-understand process.
